Our research
Our counter tobacco research concerning communities of color in Arkansas is dedicated
to addressing the unique challenges and disparities faced by these populations.
By focusing specifically on Black and Brown Arkansans, we aim to understand the
factors influencing tobacco use, access to cessation resources, and the impact of
tobacco-related diseases in these communities.
“ Through comprehensive studies,
surveys, and data analysis, ”
we strive to identify effective strategies to promote
tobacco cessation, increase access to healthcare services,
and advocate for policies that address the specific needs
of communities of color. The research findings guide
targeted interventions and initiatives, working towards
reducing tobacco-related disparities and improving health
outcomes in these communities.
