The Clearing the Air in Communities of Color Conference
Part of MISRGO’s service to citizens that reside in and outside of the State of Arkansas is the Annual Clearing the Air in Communities of Color Conference.
Held annually, the conference serves to provide an opportunity for discussions on the latest policy changes and best practices related to tobacco prevention in Arkansas.
For the past 20 years, this event has been a source for:

Exchange for best practices
Promoted the exchange of innovative programs & practices among individuals who are dedicated to eliminating disparities among different population groups
Synergy among practioners
Improved disciplinary interaction & collaboration among professionals in tobacco prevention & education.
Collaborations and partnerships are always encouraged. Therefore, for the past three (3) years, MISRGO has partnered with the Arkansas Cancer Coalition to hold the joint Arkansas Cancer Summit and Clearing the Air conferences. The results have been phenomenal, and the partnership continues.
